The project list is the main working view of the Projects module. This is where you check all projects available in the current workspace, open their preview, go to edit mode, and monitor the basic work status.
The view opens when you enter the Projects module or use the View all button on Dashboard.
What you will see at the top of the list
At the top of the page, you can see:
- the Projects header,
- the „Visible projects: :count” counter showing the number of projects visible in the current view,
- the New project button to create another project.
If the list contains at least one project, you will see the Project list section below.
Columns in the project list
The projects table shows the most important data you need for a quick overview:
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| ID | Internal project identifier |
| Project name | Project name; clicking it opens the details |
| Machine model | Machine model assigned to the project |
| Manufacturer | Manufacturer linked to the project |
| Year | Year of manufacture |
| Status | Current project status shown as a badge |
The last column contains quick actions for the selected row.
How project actions work
Three basic actions are available for each project:
- View - go to the project preview.
- Edit - open the edit form.
- Delete - delete the project after confirming the operation.
The project name also works as a link and takes you to the details view, just like the View action.
Project statuses
The Status column shows the status as a badge with a label translated by the system. In the current view, the application recognizes four main states:
| Status | Practical meaning |
|---|---|
| Active | Project is active and ready for further work |
| In Progress | Project is in progress and has not yet been completed |
| Completed | Project marked as completed |
| Archived | Archived project kept for historical reference |
The system can also normalize older or alternative status names stored in the data, but on screen it ultimately shows the user one of the standardized labels.
Order of projects in the list
The list is not sorted manually by the user from the table headers. Projects are displayed automatically so that the newest or most recently modified item appears higher up.
In practice, this means that:
- the most recently updated projects usually appear at the top of the list,
- older or less frequently used items move lower down,
- with larger amounts of data, you use the pagination at the bottom of the screen.
Filtering - what is actually available
In the current version of the view, the project list does not have a separate text search field or status filters directly on this page for a standard user.
This is important:
- a standard user works here mainly through the table, actions, and pagination,
- searching for a project by name is available from Dashboard,
- direct filtering on the project list page applies only to the administrative view.
Tenant filter for the superadmin
If you work as a superadmin, an additional tenant selection filter may appear above the table:
- a selection field with the All tenants option,
- the Filter button.
This mechanism is used to switch the view between tenants and is not a standard filter available to a regular user account.
Pagination
If the number of projects exceeds the capacity of a single page, standard pagination appears below the table.
At the bottom of the view, you may then see:
- the Previous button,
- numbers of the following pages,
- the Next button.
In practice, the list is divided into pages of 10 records, so if you have more projects, it is worth moving between pages instead of assuming that all items are visible immediately.
What an empty list view means
If there are no projects yet in the current tenant, you will see an empty state instead of the table:
- No projects yet,
- „You do not have any projects yet. Create your first project to get started.”,
- the New project button.
This case was described in detail earlier in section 2.1.
How to use the project list most effectively
The most practical way to work with this screen is as follows:
- check the „Visible projects: :count” counter,
- open a project through its name or View,
- use Edit when you want to correct the basic data,
- interpret the badge in the Status column as a quick indicator of the work stage,
- with more records, move through the pagination instead of looking for everything on a single page.
Details about further work with a project, including going to the preview, copies, and archiving, are described in the next section, 2.4 Copying and Archiving.
